As a finance professional, a tax practitioner, a professional accountant such as a CPA, or anyone else who values professional development and networking, we would like to invite you to join us at upcoming events.
We are working hard to bring you relevant PD programs and excellent speakers while everyone is working hard to flatten the curve and banish COVID-19 from our midst.
While we continue with the physical and social distancing measures and await the vaccinations to help move us forward and slow the spread, we still have some time in front of us before things will be back to normal or, more likely, some to-be-determined form of “new normal”. Social and professional events have been cancelled or converted to virtual events, and many people are isolated while we fight against the virus. Keep healthy and happy, and keep the boredom (aka cabin fever) at bay. One great choice is upgrading your skills and knowledge through our upcoming live webinars.
Our live webinars are a great way to stay informed and stay connected safely. In addition to joining our webinars live as they happen, we also have dozens of on demand webinars with a variety of topics available for viewing at your convenience.
Our courses qualify for the CPD requirements of all of the provincial CPA associations, CBV Institute, and CFE.

To provide a forum for professional accountants, such as CPAs, tax practitioners, finance professionals, executives and other interested parties in which to enhance their technical and general knowledge, network, exchange ideas and connect to solve issues. We have assisted practitioners in selling their professional practices, finding buyers for their practices, finding clients or experts in required fields, filling positions (whether permanent or temporary), finding a position, and in other ways
Education and Practice Development
To provide ongoing education on topics that are relevant, interesting and insightful, which will help with your professional and practice development, that are presented by speakers who will also be great resources for you
To assist you in improving business capabilities and enhancing your contact and knowledge base
To assist you in achieving your ongoing professional development requirements in a variety of ways that are flexible to meet your needs. We offer in-person (once we return to normal) as well as live webinars and archived webinars
Once COVID-19 is under control and we return to some level of normality, to sit down for a good meal and enjoy the company of other professionals
What is GTAAN/GTAFN?
It is an association with a mandate to bring to accounting, finance, tax and other professionals excellent speakers and topics on a wide range of relevant topics on a cost-effective basis, as well as networking and other opportunities. During COVID-19, we have pivoted to entirely live and on-demand webinars, but during non-pandemic times, we also offer in-person sessions. Our PD sessions are offered during the days and evenings in various formats (i.e., full- and half-day sessions, one-to two-hour sessions). The network operates on a break-even basis in order to offer attendees access to high quality and affordable learning and networking opportunities. Seminar Meetings and Webinars
These objectives are met by offering regular seminars, both live and on-demand, which have a wide range of topics and speakers. During non-COVID-19 times, we hold seminars in-person, both days and evenings, at various venues including the Donalda Club and the Weston Golf and Country Club and other venues. If you can't make the event, you can either view the live webinar or access the on demand webinar from the event. Dinner events are structured as follows:

depending upon the speakers, topics and audience questions.

a. Plan A (“short”) – 25% off all PD for $200 plus HST
b. Plan B (“tall”) - 10 PD hours for $300 plus HST

d. Plan D (“venti”) – 30 PD hours for $750 plus HST
e. Plan E (“trenta”) – 40 PD hours for $900 plus HST
Check the website for times of half-day sessions and webinars. The cost of the seminars can be paid on-line by credit card. The pricing of events varies; please check the course description for the number of hours. For special pricing packages and corporate/group pricing, please contact email@example.com to discuss. Your PD certificate and course material are available on the website.
If you can't make the event, your registration fee entitles you to access to the event webinar that will be posted shortly after the event and, of course, the PD certificate from listening to the webinar. If you prefer a refund, please ensure that you give us at least 48 hours notice.
