As a finance professional, a tax practitioner, a professional accountant such as a CPA, or anyone else who values professional development and networking, we would like to invite you to join us at upcoming events.
The objectives of the GTA Accountants Network and the GTA Finance Network include the following:
To provide a forum for professional accountants, such as CPAs, tax practitioners, finance professionals, executives and other interested parties in which to enhance their technical and general knowledge, network and exchange ideas
To provide ongoing education on topics that are relevant, interesting and insightful , which are presented by speakers who are specialists in their areas, extremely knowledge and great resources for you
To assist you in improving business capabilities and enhancing your contact and knowledge base
To assist you in obtaining your ongoing professional development requirements
To sit down for a good meal and enjoy the company of other professionals
What is GTAAN/GTAFN?
It is an association with a mandate to bring accounting, finance, tax and other professionals excellent speakers and topics on a wide range of relevant topics on a cost-effective basis, as well as networking opportunities. Our PD sessions are offered in-person and by live and archived webinar, both during the evenings, and full- and half-day sessions. The association runs on a break-even basis in order to offer attendees access to high quality and affordable learning and networking opportunities. Seminar Meetings and Webinars
These objectives are met by holding regular seminar meetings at which we offer a wide range of topics and speakers. We hold regular dinner, full day and afternoon events. These events are generally held at the Donalda Club, but also at the Weston Golf and Country Club and other venues. If you can't make the event, you can also purchase the webinar from the event. Dinner events are structured as follows:

depending upon the speakers, topics and audience questions.
Full day events:
9:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
Lunch and Networking
12:10 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
1:15 p.m. to 5:20 p.m.
The cost of dinner seminars is $85 (+tax) and the cost of full day multi-topic events is $225 (+tax), which you can pay by credit card or cheque. Full-day intensive courses are separately priced; please check the relevant course for more information. You will earn three hours of PD credits when you attend a dinner seminar and approximately eight hours for a full day event. We are pleased to offer an easy, inexpensive and enjoyable way to meet your PD requirements.
If you can't make the event, your registration fee entitles you to unlimited access to the event webinar that will be posted shortly after the event and, of course, the PD certificate from listening to the webinar. If you prefer a refund, please ensure that you give us at least 48 hours notice.
