About the Instructor(s)
Pulkit is a seasoned Project and Program Manager, with a background in finance, technology and business, and with more than seven years of global experience in leading IT and business Projects. He has managed more than 100 projects with budgets ranging between $200k and $20M. His recent endeavours have been focussed on working as an Agile transformation coach and a privacy technologist. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Blockchain Canada, whose vision is keeping Canada at the forefront of emerging blockchain technologies. He has also taken on the role of Canadian Local Advisor for a healthcare company in Germany (Healthbase) that is focusing on advancing medical research and healthcare.
Steven shares techniques that are used by the top Corporate business owners in Canada with owner managed businesses. If you could find out ways to reduce your tax burden, would you want to find out how to do it? Would you want to implement these tax reduction strategies immediately, given the opportunity to do so?
As a keynote motivational speaker, Steven regularly gives lectures and inspires accountants and other business professionals across Canada to reduce, reuse, and recycle these top dog strategies. Why should only the Corporate elite be privy to these tax savings?
Working at a large, bank owned, brokerage firm Steven noticed that clients really required a team of specialists to best handle complex Corporate tax planning and they were not getting that team factor. He decided to leave and start his own Company, Corporate Advisors, which utilizes this team approach with the client at the centre. Steven is the quarterback/ liaison bringing the right team together, giving clients access to a one stop shop.
Steven is client centred, he gets energized connecting with people and understanding where each person is coming from. His greatest strength is that he truly listens when people speak. He understands all the little nuances and unexpressed worries of his clients that less sensitive Corporate Advisors might miss. He takes great pride and joy in helping his clients in all areas they may need guidance in, but specializes in the financial arena. Steven loves hearing what clients have to say, their goals, their needs, their retirement vision, their fears for their future. He loves, most of all, playing a part in alleviating his clients financial worries and setting them up tax plans they feel completely comfortable with, and even more, are excited with. Steven doesn’t do cookie cutter tax planning, but customizes each plan based on the client’s individual needs, goals, retirement vision, and current financial situation.
Steven is very family oriented. Family is everything to him and so he always focuses on what is best, not just for his client, but for their family. He takes a holistic approach, with his clients, and with his outlook in life, always being mindful of all the different moving parts on their financial journey and their financial goals.
Steven’s list of certifications includes: Life License, Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, Elder Planning Counsellor, Certified Health Insurance Specialist, and a Registered Health Underwriter. Steven has also qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table.
Steven loves pushing his body as well as his mind to the max. He enjoys extreme workouts such as Cross fit, as well as mental workouts such as table tennis. Steven was selected by a local club to play table tennis in China, and still plays competitive tennis.
